Puncture inspections / Rocklea

Tyre repairs start with an inspection.

A puncture does not always mean the same repair. Talk to Rhino about the damage and arrange an inspection so the right next step can be confirmed.

Repairability depends on the tyre.

The location and extent of the damage, the tyre’s overall condition and whether it has been driven while deflated all matter. A quick description or a photo cannot confirm that a tyre can be repaired.

Contact Rhino to explain what happened. The team can discuss an inspection and let you know what information to bring. A repair and its price are confirmed after the tyre has been assessed.

Tell us what you have noticed.

  • Whether the tyre is losing pressure quickly or gradually.
  • Whether you can see a nail, screw, cut, bulge or other damage.
  • If the vehicle has been driven after the tyre lost pressure.
  • The tyre size and whether the tyre is marked as run-flat, commercial or another specific construction.
  • Any previous repairs or recent wheel and tyre work that you know about.

Do not continue driving on a damaged or deflated tyre. If the vehicle cannot be moved safely, arrange appropriate roadside assistance rather than trying to drive it to the workshop.

What happens next?

  1. Contact the workshopCall with the tyre size, the symptoms and any visible damage. Ask about inspection availability.

Need a replacement instead?

You can search tyres by size online and compare models and listed prices. If only one tyre needs replacing, ask Rhino to review the rest of the setup before choosing the next tyre.

A replacement without the guesswork.

Have your vehicle details and tyre size ready. Check the vehicle placard for required sizes and ratings, and tell us if the front and rear tyres differ. Our tyre size guide shows how to read the markings.

Car and 4x4 tyres purchased from Rhino include free fitting and balancing. Buy 4 tyres and a free wheel alignment is included. Disposal is charged separately, and the team confirms stock and fitting arrangements.

Good to know before you book

Can you tell from a photo if my tyre is repairable?

A photo can help describe the issue, but it does not confirm the tyre’s internal condition or repairability. The tyre needs an assessment.

Can every puncture be repaired?

No. The position and extent of the damage and the tyre’s condition determine whether repair is appropriate. Rhino will confirm the options after inspection.

How much does a puncture repair cost?

Call 07 3888 5788 to discuss the tyre and inspection. The team will confirm the work and price after assessing what is required.

Should I drive in with a flat tyre?

Do not drive on a deflated or damaged tyre. If you cannot move the vehicle safely, arrange suitable roadside assistance. Contact Rhino to discuss the next step.
